"Tennis and Peewee Tennis"
Tennis is a fantastic recreational
sport. It gives children an interest, and an opportunity to meet new friends in a healthy and active lifestyle. Discovering
tennis at an early age can open new doors for children. It can show them how they can succeed, how to stretch their bodies
and minds, and how to use their new skills in other areas of their lives.
“Mini-Tennis” is made for children between 3 1/2 and 8 years old. contact

Peewee Tennis & Motor Skill Development
Through the "Peewee-Tennis Program", tennis is promoted as a Fun and dynamic sport, accessible for
all children regardless of ability and background. It enables them to play tennis in all year junior programs and gain access
to tennis anywhere in the country.
The youngest
players start on a small 36' court with a smaller racquet and sponge balls coded "RED" and/or red soft felt
balls. Progression to the full size game is gradual, . The court size, net height, racquet length, type of ball, speed
of the ball, and the duration of a game/match all increase as the player progress and grows. "RED" 8 and under
in a 36' court. "ORANGE" 8 and 9 in a 60' court. "GREEN" 10 and
under in a 78' (full size) court. The color coded balls have different compression, therefore enables the children
acquire skills and success in a progressive way. In this program your child will learn the basic strokes for tennis and how to interact with other children
in a team environment. He/She will learn how to:

specially designed for peewee players, they will enjoy the lesson with games and activities while learning, and developing
the motor skills.

Beginner level: In this level your
child will learn the technique of all basic strokes in tennis; Forehand, backhand, volley, serve and over-head. All with
the PTR standard method of instruction (by progressions). We will introduce basic rules,
boundaries of the court and little bit of fitness. In this level we feed balls to emphasize
a sound stroke with technique, the players will learn to rally mini-tennis to control the ball, children will
play games to acquire hand-eye coordination and most importantly have Fun. Depending on the age level of the group we
will use the color coded balls as needed to help the student improve faster and achieve success.
